The renaissance of Spa culture
Some contain radon, others sulphur – even the ancient Romans believed in the healing powers of spa water. In the early 20th century South Tyrol enjoyed its veritable heyday as a spa resort, when both the rural folk and nobles, rich and poor came to enjoy entertainment, relaxation and holidays.
Today spa waters still retain their attraction: they have a pain-soothing, regenerating effect and are of course refreshing.
